Amy Balian, has been part of the West Chester Area Senior Center’s professional staff since 1987 and was promoted to her present position of Executive Director in 1990. A graduate of West Chester University, she continued her education through courses at LaSalle University, School of Business Administration and other developmental programs. She is a Certified Volunteer Administrator by the Association of Volunteer Administration and was listed as an honored professional in the 2002 edition of Who’s Who in Executive’s and Professionals. In 2008 she was honored by the West Chester Lions Club as a Melvin Jones Fellow. The award is the highest form of recognition in Lionism and recognizes an individual’s dedication to humanitarian service.
